London's celebrated chef Joudie Kalla-Anagnou and former fashion publicist Christina Mouratoglou are to present their first eatery, Baity Kitchen, in December 2010. Situated in Chelsea’s hip Walton Street, the girls' mission is to serve fresh and honest food with a taste of home.

Baity Kitchen (Baity meaning 'my home' in Arabic) is all about atmosphere and great food with no typical Chelsea frills. An eating bar, zinc topped wooden tables and Thonet bentwood chairs in aquamarine, overlooking into a lovely back garden. This is where contemporary style meets Mediterranean country and great cuisine.

The menu is mainly inspired by Joudie's and Christina's Middle Eastern and Mediterranean backgrounds. However, having trained at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, Daphne's and Papillion Joudie will also be cooking British and French classics with a twist. Using only fresh ingredients from the best suppliers in the country, Baity Kitchen will be serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, all available to take home.

“The essence of Baity Kitchen is to create a ‘home away from home’ venue, where customers feel like they are eating at their mother’s kitchen table. A collection of traditional meals passed down from generations will be enriched with a creative modern twist; meals customers can just as easily take home and enjoy!” Joudie Kalla-Anagnou

Joudie Kalla-Anagnou has catered for Christian Louboutin, Peter Jones, Bella Freud, amongst many others who cannot be mentioned. Joudie and her team will continue to offer a catering service for parties and events under the Baity Kitchen brand.
